In recent years, West Africa has played host to terrorist groups such as Boko Haram, the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda. Local and international actors have tried to prevent and counter terrorist activities, but their actions do not always have the intended effects.
In this webinar, experts look at interventions in the region, as well as what happens when terrorist groups employ counterterrorist methods.
They explore the international implications of these actions and reflect on how policymakers should manage terrorism in the future.
