Overview

Chatham House is a world famous think tank. Our ideas help answer the big questions that are shaping our world, addressing issues like climate change, fake news and conflict. 

Who can attend?

Our Virtual Open Day is open to all students. It’s a fantastic opportunity if you’re studying topics like politics, international relations, international security, history or economics.

Students will be able to interact with world-leading experts on international affairs and gain an insight into careers within charity and not-for-profit sector as a whole.

The world after COVID-19 is unlikely to return to the world that was. As history has shown, choices made during crises can shape the world for decades to come. What will remain critical is the need for collective action to build economies that deliver inclusive economic growth, prosperity, and safety for all.

Chatham House staff members will share their personal insights into day-to-day think tank life and career pathways. From thinking about big policy issues, producing cutting-edge research and analysis, influencing policy makers to fundraising through our membership and other external relations activities, this session will give you a taster of what working in a think tank is actually like.
