Artificial intelligence has become a dominant international theme, epitomised by the recent AI Safety Summit and the upcoming AI World Congress, both held in the UK.
Young people from the Common Futures Conversations (CFC) community, Chatham House’s flagship youth initiative, have spent the past several months engaging with experts and developing their thoughts and policy ideas related to AI.
To mark the culmination of their work, a number of CFC participants will outline their policy proposals related to AI to a panel of policymakers from Estonia, Mauritius and Romania. The proposals and broader conversation seek to address the question of how we can develop policy that ensures that AI becomes a force for good.
